- I have just recently started making cakes for friends and family...and I love doing them!! I am by no means professional and my cakes do have flaws. I have not been able to perfect the art of smoothing out buttercream icing, so I am used to working with fondant icing. I make my own fondant out of marshmallows and powdered sugar - I do not use the pre-made fondant that you can buy. All of the cakes that I do have a layer of homemade buttercream icing in between the cake and fondant. I hope you enjoy looking at my cakes and please pass this along, as I would love to have the opportunity to do cakes for your friends and family!! I do not mind doing searches to find different options for cakes on websites and please feel free to send me any photos of cakes that you like and I will do my best to duplicate them. ENJOY!!
